Doctoral Training Centre in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
This is an opportunity to study for a prestigious and exciting four year fully funded PhD within a multidisciplinary engineering and biological environment.
The White Rose Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York were awarded £7M by EPSRC to fund a 6-year Doctoral Training Centre in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Between 2008 and 2012, we were awarded 50 EPSRC funded PhD studentships for UK and EU students.
The Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) brings together a cohort of postgraduate research students and their supervisors to develop effective clinical therapies for the treatment of human diseases and disabilities. It provides students with an interdisciplinary and innovative training environment; excellent facilities, including state-of-the-art tissue engineering laboratories; and an opportunity to undertake research with world-class academics.
This Centre is no longer recruiting; however, funded places are now available within our newly funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.
